Purpose

The purpose is to conduct a recruitment process.



If you are an applicant, your Personal Data will be used for, e.g., evaluating your suitability for the position, to create a sufficient offer letter/contract for employment and to conduct credit checks if you are offered a job, to keep a record of your personal data for documentation purposes after the recruitment process has ended, or for subsequent recruitment processes.

Who are you?

You are a job applicant.

Type of Personal Data being used

We may use the following information provided by the job applicant:

  • Contact information (e.g. name, address, email, telephone number)
  • Credit check on individual offered the job, education, professional background, and other CV information (e.g. references to education, degrees, grades, photo (if attached))

If you as a candidate is invited for an interview, we may also collect and use the following information, if relevant:

  • References and/or recommendations from e.g. former employers
  • Background check, e.g. , credit checks
  • Test results

The provision of Personal Data is not a statutory or contractual requirement.
However, certain Personal Data (name, contact information) is necessary to enter into employment contract with us, but there is no necessity to enter into an employment contract with us as such.
You are not obliged to provide Personal Data. The consequence of failure to provide Personal Data would be our inability to achieve our Purpose.

Legal basis for the use of your Personal Data

The use of your Personal Data is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest in assessing job applicants, filling the position with an appropriate candidate, see Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, cf. [please insert reference to local legislation].

The use of specific Personal Data (name, contact information) is necessary for us in order to create a sufficient offer letter/contract for employment at your request, i.e. to take steps prior to entering into an employment contract, see Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

If we will store your Personal Data for subsequent recruitment processes, we will ensure to obtain your explicit and freely given consent in advance, see Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679.

You as an applicant, government agencies (Arbetsförmedlingen), recruitment agencies, public sources such as LinkedIn. Result of credit check is provided by Upplyssningscentralen (UC).

How long do we store your Personal Data?

f you are an unsuccessful job applicant, your Personal Data will be deleted as soon as it becomes clear that an offer of employment will not be made or is not accepted by you. If you gave us a consent to store your Personal Data for subsequent recruitment processes, we will only keep your Personal Data within 6 months, unless you request us to store them for a longer period.

If you are a successful job applicant and become an employee, we will at that point provide you with a separate privacy notice as to how your data will be used.


Sharing of your Personal Data with Third Parties

If the third parties are processing and using your personal data on our behalf, we enter into data processing agreements with all these data processors to ensure that appropriate security measures protecting your personal data have been taken.



If the third parties process and use your personal data for their own purposes and benefits, we ensure that we have a legal basis for sharing your personal data with these independent data controllers.
